Vodafone has confirmed it will offer the handset with the OS, with pricing to be announced “soon”
Motorola has announced all Moto G handsets are now ready to be upgraded to Google’s latest operating system, Android 4.2.2.
The device was unveiled by Motorola on November 13 and went on sale
in the UK mid-November but the Android 4.2.2 update only became
available on the smartphone yesterday (January 7).
Vodafone, which currently does not stock the device, has said it will
offer the updated version but has declined to say from when and how
much it will cost.
O2, Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse already offer the the Motorola
Moto G, which has a 4.5-inch screen, five megapixel camera and costs
around £130 SIM-free
